Financial Assistance

A limited amount of funds will be available for Darien students in need of financial assistance for courses sponsored by DSS&E. (Parents should contact outside vendors for scholarship information about classes they sponsor.) Families must qualify for the free/reduced lunch program in order to receive financial assistance for DSS&E programs.

How To Apply:

Financial assistance requests are accepted on a rolling basis beginning on February 1. The deadline to submit an application for financial assistance is May 1.

In order to apply, families should complete the Financial Aid Request Form and submit the form to Vickie Festo at 35 Leroy Avenue or email to vfesto@darienps.org.

If a Scholarship is Awarded:

Families will be responsible for paying $50 for an academic class (credit bearing courses only) and/or 50% of the tuition of an enrichment course. The family must complete the registration process and pay any tuition balance PRIOR to May 15.

*Scholarship awards may be transferred to other DSS&E programs for the same student for whom the award was made. Scholarship awards may NOT be transferred between family members.
